My name is Katie Faflak, I'm 27 and happily married to a wonderful man who I have known for almost half my life. We got married just this last November and look forward to many happy years together. I work at a bar on Saturdays, and Derek...that's the guy in the photo btw....works so that I can do nothing but focus on getting my degree. We live on the north west side of Springfield and have no children, but we do have 5 cats. Crazy I know, but I can't help it and most of the time he can't say no to me. I have a facebook page with lots of pictures of not only them but many of the interests that I have in life. I am what most people would call an eclectic human being, loving quite a variety of things including guns, animals, horseback riding, reading, writing poety, drawing, video games and much much more. I look forward to getting to know the rest of my classmates and my teacher, and be forewarned I am nutty, goofy, and yes even a bit crazy so be prepared for an off the wall semester with me in this class.Monday, January 14, 2013

ReplyDeleteKatie- Congratuations on your marriage! I like that you want to know all the big words, because I'm right there with you! I want to increase my vocabulary. I find it interesting that you have a love for a variety of things. I could say the same about myself! I hope to get to know you a litte better! You seem like a fun energetic person!

ReplyDeleteWhoa I totally made a negative comment about the west side of Springfield on this blog. My bad. I was just up to no good. You probably wished I'd get out of your side of town. Ha Ha?
Not at all, I am not one of the reasons that the west side of Springfield is the way that it is, but I can say that a few of my neighbors are, but rent is more then agreeable so I'm not going to complain, just keep a loaded gun (since we have no kids) near by and I'll be just fine. LOL
DeleteIts good that you take interest in so many things, so life can never be too boring! I hope you get to live a very happy life with your newly wed husband and your 5 cats. im sure they are happy too!
