Intro

               My name is Stephanie Edwards. Most people call me Steph. I was born and raised in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, so Springfield is still a little new to me. I moved out here in September with my oldest brother and his girlfriend. My other brother and my parents are back in Virginia but I have a good bit of family out here as well. The one question I’ve been repeatedly asked is why did I move out here of all places? Besides the obvious family and school, the difference in living expenses between here and the east coast are drastic. This made it much easier for me to be able to afford to go to school and work out here.

                I spend a large amount of my free time reading and writing. My parents encouraged me to start reading and writing and young age so it’s something that has always stuck with me. I also enjoy listening to and playing music. The guitar has been a favorite hobby of mine for a little over nine years now. I’ve accumulated a nice collection of guitars since then, but I’ve still got a few more to add to it. 

                I am currently double majoring in philosophy and theology, though; I don’t think I’ll end up making a career out of it. These are simply the subjects that I am interested in studying at the moment. It’s become a sort of family trait to take an interest in philosophy and theology, along with a few other related topics. So, studying these subjects always seemed like a natural course since the material always came very easily to me.
